Community House

The location for this house will be determined by the team brining this together, but presumably it will be located in a Milwaukee neighborhood that is very hurting, very lonely, very in need of hope. There are many of these neighborhoods in the city so this should not be a problem.

The house itself will be a large house, able to accommodate the amount of people living there. Living arrangements will be worked out later, but we truly want to allow each participant the opportunity to have a sacred space of their own – that while living in community, each person has a place of retreat of their own – for instance – their own room.

Each person would need to pay rent and combine for utilities. The rent for such a space will probably be somewhere around $400/month – but that is a very rough estimate.

This House will function very much like a house church of its own – a living, breathing, church.
