Communal Living
A huge piece of this idea is found in the idea of community. Of forming a community around the idea of living together, sharing whats ours, having everything in common. Of creating an organism where the decisions and actions of one individual affect the other individuals. Living in community is often hard, but can be very rewarding. The elements of discipleship that occur in such a context are almost found in no other situation.
The details of this community will be decided by the community itself – but elements that we see as essential here are mentor relationships, weekly times of worship together as a community, visionering together, problem solving together, conflict resolution together, serving together, breaking bread together, and sharing life together.
